BIography Led Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin adalah salah satu band rock Inggris yang dibentuk pada tahun 1968. Personil Led Zeppelin terdiri dari Jimmy Page (gitar), Robert Plant (vokal), John Bonham (drum) dan John Paul Jones (bass). Led Zeppelin adalah salah satu band ter-sukses secara komersial dan paling berpengaruh pada tahun 1970-an. John Bonham (drum) tiba-tiba jatuh pingsan saat konser tanggal 27 Juni 1980 di Nuremberg, Jerman disebabkan oleh kelebihan alkohol dan obat-obatan.

John Bonham meninggal dan dikremasi pada tanggal 10 Oktober 1980, abunya dimakamkan di gereja Paroki Rushock di Droitwich, Inggris. Para personil Led Zeppelin yang tersisa memutuskan untuk bubar setelah kematian Bonham. Led Zeppelin resmi bubar pada 4 Desember 1980 dengan pernyataan di depan pers bahwa band ini tidak akan melanjutkan tanpa Bonham.


Led Zeppelin urutan ke-14 menurut majalah Rolling Stone tahun 2004 "100 Greatest Artists of All Time". Pada konser ulang tahun Atlantic Records ke-40, Led Zeppelin tampil dengan sang drummer putra dari John Bonham, Jason Bonham.
